Iowa Recovers with a 47-17 Win Over Purdue
The Hawkeyes seemed to have recovered from their loss to the Buckeyes. Iowa exploded out of the gates and pounded the Boilermakers on the way to a 47-17 victory. The offensive line got it done upfront, as they blocked and opened lanes for the offense to rack up 539 yards on offense. The most impressive stat was the 286 rushing yards the Hawkeyes cranked out on the ground. After losing to top-ranked OSU, Iowa can still compete for a share of the Big Ten title. They travel to Indiana next week to play a game they will most probably win. Then they face their second biggest test of the season: Michigan in Ann Arbor. If Iowa hopes to win a share of the Big Ten title, this is a must win, because it looks like between OSU and Michigan, only one of them will have a loss at the end of the season.
