FBKid's Sports Minute:
PLAYERS:
Marcus Stroud,
Derek Landri,
Glenn Dorsey,
Sedrick Ellis
TEAMS: Jacksonville Jaguars, Buffalo Bills
TEAMS: Jacksonville Jaguars, Buffalo Bills
Marcus Stroud has now gotten his wish. Earlier this week his agent Drew Rosenhaus was told that he was allowed to shop Stroud for a possible trade. That search now has him as a Buffalo Bill. Stroud,an all pro defensive tackle was traded for a 3rd and a 5th round pick. Stroud has had trouble staying healthy but when he is ,he remains a force in the middle. The Jaguars should now replace him with Rob Meir or possibly either Derek Landri who was impressive in the playoffs. This is a good move for both teams as the Bills now don't have to pay first round money to a defensive tackle and the Jaguars do very well at drafting in the later rounds. The only problem for the Jags if they try and address defensive tackle in the draft. Glenn Dorsey and Sedrick Ellis, the two best at the position will both be gone in the top ten. Even Kentwan Balmer of North Carolina who I consider the 3rd best defensive tackle could be gone.

NFL mock draft: Rounds 1-4
Many throughout the season projected LSU DT Glenn Dorsey as the #1 overall pick in April's NFL Draft. Then that man was USC DT Sedrick Ellis, who proved to be unstoppable in the Senior Bowl. Now the guy at the top of many mock drafts is Virginia DE Chris Long, son of Howie and purveyor of QB nightmares.
"Long can play in any scheme. He has more experience in the 3-4...
Darren McFadden a loyal Patriot next year???
What do you guys think about the draft??? I have seen a lot of drafts having Glenn Dorsey as the number 1 pick. I would not mind that at all, and I am also hoping The 49ers do very poor the rest of the season so they can get the number 2 pick and picking up Darren McFadden. That would be awesome, and there would be a pats jersey on me every sunday next year.
2008 NFL Mock Draft V 1.1
Team
1st Round
1. Miami Dolphins - DT Glenn Dorsey, LSU
The Dolphins need more than just a DT, but they can only pick one player here. Dorsey is their man. He could fill a void at DT for the next 8-10 years. This would be the choice for the Dolphins unless they decide to move back and acquire...
Are the Bengals thinking more offense?
So, the Bengals need some defensive linemen. Really? And though Jay Hayes wants William Wallace -- which I'm sure he's referring to the Mel Gibson version -- the second best option, it seems, will be Sedrick Ellis. So much so, that if they pick someone else at another position, I'd be shocked. Shocke...

2008 NFL Mock Draft
Miami Dolphins - DE Chris Long, Virginia
The Dolphins take Howie Long's son with the first pick in the draft. Long played in a 3-4 defensive system at Virginia and excelled in it. Bill Parcells looks to implement this defense in Miami, and grabs what he thinks is the best player in the draft. VIDEO>>

It's been a big week out here in the Big Apple, not just for me but also for Glenn Dorsey, Matt Ryan, Vernon Gholston, Chris Long and of course #1 pick Jake Long (congratulations, man). I've been loving New York and the whole Draft experience. I came out a couple days before the...
Senior Bowl is a splendid opportunity for Raiders to prepare for the NFL draft
The yard lines have barely been erased from the field on the house of thrills and the debate is already underway in the Raider Nation as to whom the Raiders should draft with their top pick. The usual suspects are being bandied about such as Darren McFadden, Jake Long, Chris Long, and Glenn Dorsey. The key to making or breaking a draft is much more than the glamor that goes along...
