Michigan Survives Scare From Ball St.

Imagine you are the #2 team in the nation. Imagine you were on a historic collision course with the #1 team in the nation. Imagine you looked at your schedule, and you saw that one the way to playing that #1 team you had to play Ball St...you'd be relaxed, just as Michigan was this weekend. The Wolverines expected to walk into their last game at home this season and absolutely roll over the lowly Cardinals. But the Ball St. players had something entirely different in mind. "We came out our goal was to take it to the fourth quarter, and we did that. If things could have gone a little differently for us, we could have shocked the world," said Cardinal LB Brad Seiss. Ball St. took it down to the wire, but Michigan came out on top 34-26. Wolverine fans had better hope that their team can learn from this experience. Coach Carr had this to say: "Really, everything that happened today was good for our team, because they had to fight. I think they realized at the end there, this was a game that was in jeopardy that they had control of and they let get away. In the big picture, I think it will help us."
