First-round draft pick Mike Jenkins signed a lucrative rookie contract with the Dallas Cowboys yesterday. The cornerback, who will likely be the Cowboys back-up cornerback, will earn $9.725 million over five years. Jenkins plans to wear Roy Williams' old number 31. The only rookie left to sign is running back Felix Jones.

He was a damn good pick...could instantly start...no-one is talking about Dallas secondary and how they got 15 new CB's...Dallas secondary going into season under-rated
    • except for the fact the roy williams is horrible and pac man has yet to be reinstated and that mike jenkins is a rookie. Rookie corners usually get burned often during their first 2 years.

I hate Newman b/c hes a Cowboy, but he will easily be the starter, not Pacman and Jenkins- If Pacman get reinstated. I wish Newman was on any other team.
