Sophomore quarterback Tim Tebow hasn't played in Death Valley, but he has experienced it. "It's a crazy place and a great game environment," Tebow said. "I had the opportunity to be there for a few games as a recruit and watch how great that place gets. I hear from some of the older guys what it's like on the field."
Those Gators who have played in front of the 91,000-plus in Baton Rouge expect revenge to feed the Tiger fans' reception following Florida's win over LSU last season in The Swamp.
"Death Valley's going to be crazy loud," senior defensive tackle Clint McMillan said. "It's going to be sold out, there's going to be purple and gold everywhere."

Game of Survival-UF vs. LSU
This was supposed to be showdown Saturday, the night when annual powers Florida and LSU met for Southeastern Conference supremacy.
But a surprise happened on the way to Baton Rouge. Florida stumbled against Auburn last Saturday in a stunning 20-17 loss at the The Swamp, the first home loss in the Urban Meyer era.
So now, showdown Saturday becomes survival Saturday. If No....
Baton Rouge: Plenty for UF Fans
With the Gators hungry on the comeback trail, you might think Baton Rouge will be sinking the welcome mat in a bayou. Instead, Louisiana's capital city - and home to the undefeated LSU Tigers - is rolling it out to Florida fans throughout the weekend.
For starters, all good Gators are encouraged to show up bright and early - and we do mean bright and early - in time to appear...
Ingram Waiting For Workload
Florida's second leading receiver is not getting the ball enough. Redshirt junior tight end/receiver Cornelius Ingram has recorded 17 catches for 250 yards and 3 touchdowns this season, but has yet to have the breakout season many expected.
Ingram's size alone creates obvious mismatches for most defenders. With a 6-foot-4, 230-pound frame and speed like a wide receiver...
Florida safety Joiner has charges dropped
The week of worry for the Gators got a little better with the news that starting safety Tony Joiner will not be charged with trying to steal his girlfriend's car from an impound. He is no longer a captain of the team and may not play in this week's matchup with #1 LSU. At least he's still on the team though.
#1 For a Reason
"Every year, we do our research and there are a couple of states that basically you can't pull them (prospects) out of, and Louisiana happens to be one of those states," Meyer said. "We've done a 20-year study at the University of Florida since the mid-1980s to see where players have come from on signing day.
"Louisiana, Mississippi and a couple of...
Good Athletes Behaving Badly
As University of Florida football coach Urban Meyer awaits a ruling from the State Attorney's Office before he decides when strong safety Tony Joiner will play next, one thing seems certain. Meyer will take a pounding in the court of public opinion no matter what he decides.
If Meyer decides Joiner can play Saturday against top-ranked LSU after being arrested Tuesday morning...
