After all my Pro-PAC-10 hoopla, the Northwest steps up and makes me look like an idiot. After 4 years up there, I still cant rely on Oregon.
The Ducks (7-6) went south to play the Cougars from BYU in the Las Vegas Bowl. Maybe it was the strippers, partying with showgirls, gambling at the MGM, or the free buffets at each casino, but the Oregon football team got smoked.
BYU had won 10 straight coming into the game, and Oregon had Lost 4 in a row, but it should have been a better game. It should have been a better showing by the Ducks. They just couldnt match the intensity of the Cougars who had their first winning season since 2001.
It isnt over for the PAC-10 yet. UCLA, Cal, ASU, OSU, and USC still have to play in their respective bowls. Hopefully we can go 5-1 in this bowl season.
