The move, quite possibly, makes drafting a tackle this year [...]

Chicagobears.com reports that the Bears have signed Orlando Pace for a three year contract. The seven time pro bowler will likely start at left tackle. This would move second year rookie Williams to right tackle with Kevin Schaffer backing both players.
Bears Wake Up
After what has been a very uneventful offseason in Chicago, the Bears have put thrown down the gauntlet in regards to the upcoming season. Torry Holt to Chicago?
Now that the Bears have landed Pro Bowl QB Jay Cutler and seven time Pro Bowl tackle Orlando Pace, a Chicago Tribune writer thinks it's time to sign free agent WR Torry Holt. At the moment, Cutler's number one target remains converted defensive back Devin Hester, so wide receiver is a need for the team, either through free agency or the draft. For what it'...
BREAKING: Bears spending spree continues - Ink Orlando Pace

The move comes on the heels of a trade request by the unhappy Cutler...
Da Bears & Other Stuff
So today, as you’ve probably heard by now, the Bears acquired both Jay Cutler and Orlando Pace. Time for a new poll question. I’m not sure what to think about them signing Pace yet, as I would love having his talent and experience, but he is expensive and injury prone. Time wil tell.
The other former Rams star that the Ravens were targeting was Torry Holt, to bolster...

(I have to be brief on this one today; too much going on outside of the blog. Yes, I suck.)Yes, the QB is a pouting whiner who should have gotten over it.No, Chicago Fan will not hold that against him. Seriously, after the QBs that franchise had had, Cutler could come out of the huddle wearing wings and a fluffy tail and they'd eat it up.Yes, Coach Idiot McDaniels is on the shortest...
