  • Rice doesn't have a first or second round grade. He is better off staying in school and breaking the record.
  • According to the the draftheadquarters.com blog, he did receive a 1st/2nd round grade:

Jan 8th (3:26 PM) - Rutgers running back Ray Rice just got out of his coach's office and has officially declared for the draft. Expect for it to be released to the media soon. He received a Late 1st-Early 2nd Round grade from the Advisory Committee. His decision comes just three days after rushing for 280 yards and four touchdowns against Ball State in the International Bowl.
  • Yup - he should stay in school. there is no way he will go in the round...i do see him going mid-2nd round at the very earliest.
  • There are alot of RB's available this year. I see him being between the 3-6 RB taken in the draft which puts him in the late 1st to 2nd round. I don't see why he should come back with that grade. If it was a 3rd to 4th round grade then I'd say stay.
