  • I'm here on the left-coast, so I dont know much about Torrence other than we (wanted) him and his brother is already on the team. How much would it hurt to not have him join as a Buckeye? Didnt we just land Llamar Thomas?
  • Torrence was a big time talent. He was the only 'back they recruited. Now they may be making a late push at others. If unsuccessful, they will take 2 guys next year. I'm no insider, but that's the prevailing knowledge from people who seem to know.
  • That said, no one player is not replaceable.

Lamaar Thomas is a Buckeye! Be happy about hat. He's another Ted Ginn/Ray Small type of guy.

Terrelle Pryor's Amazing Videos

The number 1 quarterback recruit in the country is 6?6? Terrelle Pryor from Pennsylvania. Apparently, his decision-making process is down to Ohio State, Michigan, maybe Oregon, Penn State, LSU, and Florida. #11/12 Ohio State v. Purdue

Ohio Stadium, Columbus, Ohio Kickoff: 3:30pm TV: ABC 12 years ago Purdue head football coach Joe Tiller brought pizzazz and excitement to an otherwise slow, plodding, three-yards-and-a-cloud-of-dust Big Ten. Since Tiller installed the spread offense, Purdue has been at or near the top of the conference offensive statistics. A 2-3 record was certainly not the way the...

Week 12 Big Ten Wrap-up

Illinois couldn't get the job done against Ohio State Saturday, losing 30-20. Chris Wells ran for 143 yards, while Terrelle Pryor added 110 rushing yards of his own. Illinois bested Ohio State in total yards by more than 100, but special teams errors and, you guessed it, turnovers doomed the Illini. Northwestern held off Michigan with a 21-14 win. It was the first win in Michigan...

Big Ten week 5 preview

I continue to kick some severe ass in the Big Ten bloggers' pick 'em standings, but I admit that the games have been easy to pick so far. That changes this week as everyone but Purdue opens up conference play. About the only thing I can pick with 100% confidence is that Purdue will be all by itself in 6th place come Sunday morning. Most of the games have clear favorites,...
