Rutgers Can't Afford New Stadium; NJ Lawmakers "Investigating"

At first, I thought the lawmakers were just huffing and puffing, because I assumed a majority of them probably actually went to Rutgers. I wasn't sure if they are really investigating the university's financing, or the financing of the Rutgers Athletics Department, or if this is all for show. But it looks like someone in the state goverment actually has some questions (from http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2008/07/state_comptroller_to_probe_rut.html ): "The comptroller is seeking records detailing university-wide procurement and contracting practices; the finances and money-management practices in Rutgers athletic department; and compensation packages for all team coaches. " Hmmmm...
