South Carolina Week 1 Report Card
It wasn't pretty by any stretch of the imagination, but the South Carolina Gamecocks managed to go into Starkville, Mississippi and escape with their first win of the season. Both offenses struggled mightily against defenses that looked incredibly solid, and there were more quarterback injuries than some teams see in a year. A star wide receiver wasn't heard from all game, but a returning running back and all-around athlete provided fireworks of their own. Here, I give my grades for each aspect of the Gamecock team after their ugly but victorious first week match up.
