Their standards are definitely tougher according to this study, but I've heard contrasting stories from those who've gone to actual ivy league institutions about whether or not their academics are tougher. I heard they baby their students, and it is very hard to fail. I could be wrong, it's just what I've heard from others so it could be far from the truth, but what i've heard implies that once you're in, you're gold.
