  If USC starts to go down, I don't think they will they're one of the NCAA's sacred programs, Pete Carroll will take the first NFL job he can get.

    if ethics mean anything it should effect recruiting. Yet another example patronizing making excuses for athletes. What are athletes like Bush contributing to society except entertainment,?

  Just as with streoids, everyone is doing the same shit. That is if this book relates facts and not biased statements to make USC look bad. Dont always believe what you read.

    I will only believe that the NCAA is fair when schools like USC and Notre Dame get the same punishment for the same violations as everyone else has, until then, the NCAA will continue to play favorites and protect certain schools while lowering the boom on others. I don't see how the NCAA can not punish USC and Reggie Bush for this they have gien schools years of probation for much less than this. Pete Carroll cannot claim he knew nothing about it, if he tries that he's just plain lying.

  seems very typical, Bush's Pop stated, go into the NFL draft you can't learn anything more here (USC)
  How about a college education he didn't achieve that. Just another athlete who see the $ signs. What happened to getting an education first then going pro, money is too tempting, huh?

  When does all this negativity stop and enjoying a good game begins. Is there just always something wrong. Do the people who investigate and find these stories on atheletes have a life. Can they find happiness in doing anything that feels good and productive instead of contributing to destroying people????

    "find these stories on athletes"??? WTH, this story has been out there for months! Why shouldn't people talk about it? Just b/c the player is from USC? Reggie Bush is a cheat, a fraud, and deserves to be stripped from his Heisman. No one is destroying Bush's life by bringing this to light. He did it to himself. He knew the rules as every other player did and chose not to abide by them. And USC should receive same punishment as other schools do for violating NCAA rules. They are not and should NOT be exempt.

  Just another USC hater who is pissed of that this program is challeging the "fact" that all dominate schools must come from the SEC.

  The reason USC wins is because they just cheat a little better than anyone else and get players in school that no other Pac-10 school can. Carroll did not look so smart in losses vs. Texas, Stanford
  or Oregon did he. SC fans used to bag on Miami when they were dominating and they have become
  the same corrupt program. If Carroll gos running to the pros now that will show his true colors which are green and not cardinal and gold.
