Seriously, there are times when I wish sports announcers took live phone calls on the air... :-)

The Buckeyes have been coasting all season and playing a weak schedule. It was bound to happen sooner or later. Might happen again at Michigan.

If you consider complete and total domination in almost every game this season "coasting," then sure... I guess you're right. Whether or not it will happen next week or in whatever bowl game we play, that is yet to be seen.

As I said before, if we weren't to go undefeated in this "rebuilding year," better to lose before the National Championship game, than to see a repeat of last year.

Well, they should be dominating against inferior opponents. That's what a good team does.

I don't disagree with you PP. I don't think an Ohio State football team that can't put three touchdowns on the scoreboard in the 4th quarter against Illinios deserves to be the number one team in the country.

You are absolutely right as far as that goes.

I root for LSU and I am one of those absurd fans that want too much. Every week I watch the game in the fetal position and just hope for a win. With the BCS system, a championship season is no fun. You go around all season with a target on your back, and if you lose one game, you may never recover. OSU will make the Rose Bowl this year and that is a great accomplishment with all the new starters. Sometimes, I almost hope LSU loses a game, so I can just enjoy the season instead of such a long fight in a completely subjective system. The playoff system will have to happen soon enough.

Shake.......maybe my Sooners will get another shot at you guys. Of course, it's going to be in (your) LSU's backyard again. How lucky can you get to play in the national title less than 100 miles away from the campus. Anyone that plays them there won't have a chance. Should be a good matchup though. New Orleans is always fun and they need the business down there.

I agree, we have seen many spread teams, "juice" just ran it better than the other quarterbacks. I think we just didnt show up to play. we were looking ahead to michigan!! But Coach Tressel will have the boys ready for a battle!!

I don't get what we did. On the last drive, they repetitively slammed us with a QB sneak. How much more obvious can you get? Like 4 or 5 straight 3rd downs with that fake draw, QB sneak. We'll beat scUM and get to the Rose Bowl. Disappointing losing to UI, but if you had told me we'd go 11-1 with a chance to beat USC in the Rose Bowl I'd have jumped for joy, but it did still sting when we lost.

Of course, we're supposed to win it next year, so I'll expect nothing less.

Yeah, but I think if we had our AJ Hawk led defense, the score would have read much differently. They handled Vince Young very well, and I'd definitely say that Vince Young's Texas was much stronger than Juice Williams' Illinios this past Saturday.

Im not sure if i would call that Vince Young a true spread offense. Vince did alot of running on his own. The spread is much different with the quarterback running. Plus the way they were doing the no huddle hurt us too. It was making us tired. But hey its Michigan week and we all know what that means!!!
