Rutgers? Are you kidding me? All we heard from the media for weeks was how arrogant Notre Dame was to ask Rutgers to play its home games versus Notre Dame in the Meadowlands. The New York Times even had the headline: Notre Dame vs. Rutgers: Playing Holier Than Thou where they bashed Notre Dame as a has been and painted Rutgers as a national power.

    Dude, I'll agree, Rutgers is definitely not a national power, but Notre Dame is a has-been. Maybe you guys should start recruiting more thugs and hoodlums.

    I think that Notre Dame will surprise this year. They now have 3 very good recruiting classes in a row with quite a few contributors from the two classes and quite a bit of playing time last year. The San Diego State game will be where we will be able to evaluate the team.
