This man will never be forgotten among the Husky faithful:

Mr. Zane Potter played for the Huskies from 2004-2006. All the way from Boring, Oregon (Yes there is a town called Boring), as a walk-on Potter became a hands-down fan favorite. Though he spent most of the game sitting on the bench, while watching his future NBA teammates crush opponents, he did have his moments of glory.
One of the most memorable Dawg Pack chants was the repeating plea to Coach Romar, "WE WANT POTTER!"
Coach Lorenzo Romar is holding open tryouts for a walk-on spot on the UW basketball team. Someone has a chance to make it on a team that has a strong chance at making the Sweet 16 this year. For former high school basketball stars that have kept on playing college, this seems to be a golden opportunity.
Kavario Middleton, the Huskies' starting Tight End might find himself on the hardwood. He played for Lakes high school and actually led his team to the state tournament two years back. It will be interesting to see if the Huskies can find someone, and hopefully they can become another fan favorite like the infamous Potter.
