Unoffical List Surfaces with Surprising Names

UVa is an extremely well regarded university in higher ed circles, so it really shouldn't be surprising that the UVa AD is on the list. But is he even interested? The Florida and Stanford A.D.'s also make sense, especially Stanford, which has pretty strong women's athletic programs and is also an elite private institution. I still have to wonder though if any of these ADs are interested...

It's still pretty much Gene Smith's of Ohio State's for the taking. Does he want to leave Columbus for his alma mater? Who knows.

Yes that's their (Chicago Tribune's) potential candidate list. The list I reported came from the ND Board of Director's and Fr. Jenkin's (ND President) Office.
