Found April 08, 2009 on Cubs f/x:
Geovany Soto will stop off in Chicago on the way to Milwaukee. He'll see Dr. Gryzlo to have his shoulder examined. Nothing new, as noted earlier. It goes back more:
Soto had the same soreness before, in 2007 at Triple-A Iowa, when he woke up one morning and couldn't lift his arm. He said it lasted about a week, and then just went away. Soto insisted the current soreness was "nothing close" to that experience.

If he goes down, it will be the veteran, not Welington Castillo, who gets the call:
The Cubs can't afford to go more than a couple games with only one healthy catcher in Koyie Hill. The only other option is putting Soto on the disabled list and calling up Mark Johnson from Iowa.
