ATHENS, GA - SEPTEMBER 10: Head coach Steve Spurrier of the South Carolina Gamecocks looks at the scoreboard before their game against the Georgia Bulldogs at Sanford Stadium on September 10, 2005 in Athens, Georgia. (Photo by Streeter Lecka/Getty Images)
The Old Ball Coach is getting a little cocky again (as if he ever quit). South Carolina head football coach Steve Spurrier took time out in an interview with Chris Low of ESPN for a little jab at Georgia's issues with suspended players after being asked about this year's game between the Bulldogs and the Gamecocks being moved from its traditional second week of the season spot to Oct. 6 in the 2012 season. "I don't know. I sort of always liked playing them that second game because you could always count on them having two or three key players suspended." Yeah, Mark Richt is probably not happy with that one. Mind you by Oct. 6 of last season, former South Carolina quarterback Stephen Garcia was a few days away from finally being dismissed from the program. So Spurrier might be looking to avoid a stone or two being thrown at his palatial glass estate in Columbia.  (via The Macon Telegraph) Read more here: http://www.macon.com/2012/04/12/1987772/spurriers-latest-jab-at-geo...
