No Guts, No Glory:
A normal recruiting weekend at FIU this past weekend has led to some possible “issues” for two current FIU football players as well as the FIU program.
Current players Demarkus Perkins (@DPerk_15) and defensive tackle Isame Faciane (@ICEem_down) hosted a FIU recruit during the recruit’s visit to the campus. Perfectly normal.
The duo decided that they would show the recruit a good time by taking him to one of the area’s many strip clubs. If we’re honest, this is also perfectly normal.
But where things take a turn for the worse is when the two decide to have a conversation on Twitter about said trip to a strip club.
Of course, both accounts are gone now, but not before The Miami Herald got a screen grab of the exchange:

FIU defensive back Demarkus Perkins tweeted about taking one of the program’s recruits to a strip club. He even tweeted with teammate Isame Faciane about it:

Guys love strip clubs right? That must mean recruits love strip clubs and that is usually a pretty accurate statement. Well, Florida International University live tweeting taking a potential recruit to a strip clubs. I can’t think of a better way of getting a 17 to 18 year old male to come to your school. Maybe FIU has this whole thing figured out?

Kids say the darndest things.
Florida International is doing their best to try and recruit players to their campus, but that’s a tough thing to do with Miami right down the road, and FSU and UF always looking to poach away in-state players, as well. Basically, you have to pullout all the stops as the small school, but it is best to make sure they stay under the...
