Former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez, currently stewing at the Bristol County House of Corrections awaiting his day in court for the murder of Odin Lloyd, has professed his innocence in a letter, claims TMZ. The letter was provided to TMZ by a man only named Karl, who claims he was in the same jail 15 years ago and reached out to Hernandez to offer some encouragement. “I know everything happens for a reason and I know ‘God’ has a plan for me and something good will come out of this,” Hernandez’s letter reads. “The world just makes things out of false accusations and it will all die down, especially when they say not guilty and all the people that turned on me will feel like crap.” “I’m humbled by this already and this will change me forever. At least I’ll know my true supporters. Thanks for being one of them!” Hernandez wrote in the purported letter.
