Found October 10, 2008 on Titan Sized:
Most of you know that Adam Jones got himself into another little predicament early Wednesday morning, getting into an altercation with one of his security guards at the hotel he was staying at in Dallas. You've got to give Jones' a little bit of credit, going over a year between incidents involving police is a step in the right direction. Maybe it won't be until 2011 that another tussle occurs-perhaps he punches a couple of animals at the petting zoo for eating the food he was displaying only for show. Regardless, before this incident, you haven't heard Jones' name a whole lot this season. This is because he hasn't done too much on the field either. Pacman hasn't played terribly in the Cowboys' banged up secondary (20 tackles, 6 passes defended, 1 forced fumble) but he hasn't done anything spectacular. In the return game, where we thought we were really going to miss him, he's averaging 5 yards a return, compared to the 13 he averaged in his final season with Tennessee. By comparison, after a couple solid efforts in a row, Chris Carr is averaging 13 yards per punt return now. It's allright not to root for Pacman, as if anyone needs permission. My understanding is that since Jones was reinstated for the current season, the Titans are no longer at risk of losing any of their picks offered in the trade. Just be glad that he isn't our problem, and so far hasn't played like a player we miss, even on the field.
