It may sound crazy and it may be far fetched, but the Rutgers Scarlet Knights still have a shot at the Big East title this season. Many Rutgers fans will read that sentence and immediately say, “Well, Schiano blew it with his quarterback mess.” I am not going to get into that, because there are still some positives to look at here. Chas Dodd came on in relief of Gary Nova on Saturday and led the Scarlet Knights to a come-from-behind win over South Florida. Rutgers could have used some help from Pittsburgh, but the Panthers were unable to beat Cincinnati. Cincinnati sits in first place in the conference with a 3-0 record. Louisville is second at 3-1, while Rutgers sits in third at 3-2. A Cincinnati loss would have improved Rutgers chances at the title, but even so, the Knights still have a chance. Sure, Cincinnati is still undefeated but they have four conference games remaining against the likes of West Virginia, at Rutgers, at Syracuse, and finishing the year at home ag...
