McCarron and Katherine Webb decided to use some of their Alabama bye week downtime on Monday to visit a Birmingham area haunted house. The Alabama starting quarterback and his Hardees' spokeswoman  girlfriend were seen together at Birmingham's Warehouse 31. McCarron had reportedly been looking for haunted houses to visit via Twitter, and was invited by "fans and cast members" of the attraction to check it out. Warehouse 31 owner and operator Jason Sills explains how things came about.  "It started early in the day," Sills said. "I guess AJ must have made a tweet this morning around 10 a.m. We jumped on there and told him to come out to Warehouse 31. We got fans and cast members to post." One of the cast members reportedly wore an Auburn jersey to "frighten" McCarron, an ironic move considering Webb is an Auburn grad. ...

A.J. McCarron complains about disrespect from Tennessee, is a hypocrite.

Alabama starting quarterback was a little miffed about Tennessee following the Crimson Tide's 45-10 vivisection of the Vols on Saturday. It had to do with Tennessee players referring to Alabama as "The Red Team" in the way Ohio State head football coach Urban Meyer refers to Michigan as "The Team Up North." "I never really say anything about the...

Alabama Football: Tide fans stay in stands for Tennessee game

Their sunburns were badges of honor. Evidence that they had listened when their favorite football coach told them to stay. Because when Nick Saban says stay- you stay. One week after Nick Saban scolded Alabama fans for leaving home games early (particularly the Georgia State game) and the school banned block seating for a week, the Tide faithful decided to actually be allegiant,...

Nick Saban: “I’ve Never Considered Joining Twitter, Nor Do I Understand Why Anyone Would”

You probably won’t be shocked to hear this, but Alabama coach Nick Saban has no interest in joining Twitter. When asked today at his weekly press conference about whether he’d ever join the social media platform, he dropped a fairly amusing quote on the audience: Saban: I’ve never considered joining Twitter, and I don’t know why anyone ever would. — Nick Sellers (@Nick_Sellers1...

Alabama Assistant Coach Pays Johnny Manziel a Pretty Big Compliment

I totally understand that controversy sells and that's what people are often interested in most (that and sex of course). The whole Arkansas/Auburn video mess is just ridiculous. Players and coaches going back and forth over social media and news outlets is common and just a little bit silly most of the time. So when we here about one opponent (Alabama) paying some respect...

Heisman Watch (Week 10)

1. A.J McCarron (Alabama) Tennessee may now respect Alabama and not call them the “Red Team.” McCarron had a great day at the job, A.J went (19-27) with 275 yards and three total touchdowns. Alabama has a bye week and then takes on LSU in a heated rivalry. 2. Johnny Manziel (Texas A&M) Johnny football with a hurt shoulder and all still was dominate in 3 quarters of action...

DePriest Readying For Tough LSU

Alabama Coach Nick Saban recognizes that inexperienced players sometimes have assignment problems. He calls it “going rat-trap.” Trey DePriest knows what it is, too – from experience.

Brent Musberger can't stop thinking about Katherine Webb

Brent Musberger has reached the age where he knows that he is still great at doing play-by-play, but also knows that if he gets fired, he'll be fine. After making Alabama sweetheart and Crimson Tide quarterback AJ McCarron's girlfriend Katherine Webb famous by declaring his attraction for her during the national title game last year, Big Game Brent was at it again on Saturday...

'Bama cashes in on All-American

Alabama was the school Josh Casher grew up rooting for, and on Tuesday evening the in-state offensive lineman committed to the Crimson Tide over several other SEC and ACC offers.

A CLOSER LOOK AT THE BCS RANKINGS: WEEK 9

#1 Alabama  The Good: Alabama annihilated another SEC opponent, this past weekend. AJ McCarron threw for 275 yards with 2 touchdowns and no interceptions while leading the Crimson Tide past the Tennessee Volunteers by a score of 45-10. TJ Yeldon added another 3 touchdowns on the ground for good measure. The Bad: It is difficult to find anything negative about Alabama’s dominant...

AJ, C.J. National Award Semifinalists

Everyone who follows Alabama football should know that every college football award is not going to go to a Crimson Tide player. But that doesn’t mean Bama won’t have more of its share of players in contention.

DC's Top 10: Week 10

1. ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE (8-0): While the rest of the SEC title contenders folded like Alabama's last three BCS Championship Game opponents the Tide have rolled to an 8-0 start and systematically dismantled every opponent since the Aggies, outscoring their six post-A&M foes by 220 points. Alabama had scored 104 consecutive points before Tennessee finally got on the board...
