At this point, we’ve basically run out of ways to say “Alabama is really good at this whole football thing.” That tends to happen after a team wins three titles in four years (let alone does it in the current climate of college football), finishes with three of the last four top ranked recruiting classes, and just graduated a class that won a staggering 50 games. So yeah, I guess what we’re trying to say is that it ain’t bad to be Nick Saban these days. Yet over the past few weeks, the rich have incredibly, somehow got richer. That’s because in addition to all the on the field accolades, the program also just got a major upgrade off the field too, with a sparkling new $9 million strength and conditioning facility that’s just about ready for opening. According to reports the facility is for all Alabama student-athletes, and features just about every amenity a 19-year-old athlete could ever dream of (Including yes, even a juice and nutrition bar.
