Alabama tailback Trent Richardson isn't ready to start talking Heisman Trophy yet, however, he certainly has put himself in that conversation.
Richardson has matched Shaun Alexander's school record with six straight 100-yard rushing efforts. He set career-highs with 183 yards and four touchdowns against Mississippi and turned in a stutter-stepping, highlight reel 76-yard TD run.
Richardson says he doesn't pay attention to the Heisman talk and doesn't even watch ESPN's SportsCenter anymore.
He is slightly ahead of Mark Ingram's seven-game pace during the current New Orleans Saints back's 2009 Heisman Trophy run in yards. He has 15 touchdowns to Ingram's eight during that span.
Tennessee will try to slow him down Saturday night. Volunteers linebacker Austin Johnson says Richardson ''brings a little bit more than what Mark Ingram did.''
