A lot can change in a day. On Tuesday, University of Alabama wide receiver Kenny Bell made a surprising move when he announced on Twitter that his days on the gridiron were over. The senior noted that he planned to shift his focus to his family, but by Tuesday evening Bell’s plans had already altered. In arguably the shortest retirement of all-time, Bell once again took to Twitter to declare that he would, in fact, be rejoining the team. His departure from the Tide was never made official, however, as Nick Saban later clarified that Bell had been granted a “personal day,” and would return to practice on Wednesday. “Sometimes we have personal things that we need to get ironed out,” Saban said. “He had a day today to do that.” The head coach spoke with Bell on Monday and Tuesday, and also spoke to his mother before the three of them came to a decision on the wide receiver’s future. Check out Bell’s series of tweets below. ..it's been a nice run but I'm hanging up my cleats— Ke...

No. 1 recruit joins No. 1 Alabama, it's more noteworthy than you'd think

Photo: 247 Sports Anytime Alabama lands a big time recruit, it is met with a yawn. We expect this sort of recruiting news to happen when discussing the Crimson Tide. Not to take anything away from the work done by Saban in recruiting, because he didn...

AP Poll 1: Bama still No.1, Georgia out of Top 10

The AP Poll's just come out, and there's no surprises who is No.1: Alabama. The Crimson Tide are top of the polls after their win over Virginia Tech, however unconvincing it actually was.
