Five star running back Alex Collins was set to sign with the Arkansas Razorbacks on National Signing Day.

We all know now that this did not happen. 

Collins’ mother Andrea McDonald’s efforts to keep her son in South Florida to play for the University of Miami were apparently foiled when Alex reached out to his father Johnny according to the Miami Herald. 

The NCAA will accept his father’s signature as he is the father listed on the birth certificate.
