South Carolina Gamecocks receiver Alshon Jeffery is leaving school early to enter the 2012 NFL draft according to Joe Schad.  The 6’4″ junior is projected to be drafted somewhere in the first half of the first round.  Jeffery stock is high after a 148 yard bowl performance agaisnt Nebraska. This is a good move by Jeffery coming out early.  Teams will be looking for tall explosive receivers like Jeffery after the recent success of A.J. Green and Julio Jones.  I am not sure if Jeffery will be a top 5 pick like Jones and Green, but I have to think teams like the Bears, Jaguars, Browns and Redskins all need help at the receiver position.
