We’ve still got two and a half months to go until our first glimpse of University of Louisville football at the annual Spring Game. Many things can change throughout the spring, but here is a positional outlook for you to chew on in the mean time.
Quarterback: With a seasoned Teddy Bridgewater at the helm, the possibilities are endless. Towards the end of the 2011 season the coaching staff seemed to show a bit more confidence in Teddy’s passing game and I expect that to be wide open for his sophomore campaign. I hope to see the dual threat quarterback showcase his wheels more as we saw that he can be very effective in that aspect as well. Senior Will Stein will serve as a solid back-up and that will allow incoming true freshman Will Gardner a season to red-shirt and get physically healthy after missing the majority of his senior year of high school with knee injury in the season’s opening game.
