TEMPE, Ariz. -- Arizona State officially received its bowl invitation Sunday night from the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl, which will pit the Sun Devils against Navy on Dec. 29 in San Francisco.
"Very excited, obviously," ASU coach Todd Graham said after the team's practice Sunday night. "It's a great location for us because of our recruiting base to be able to go the Bay Area. California is such an important place for us to recruit.
"And then the team we're playing -- we have the honor of competing against one of the academies."

Navy learned on Sunday that it will face Arizona State in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl in San Francisco, Calif., on Dec. 29. Sun Devil head coach Todd Graham discussed Navy and his team heading into the bowl.
Even though he has yet to visit the campus, Los Angeles (Calif.) Dorsey defensive back Jayme Otomewo has made his decision and will be a Sun Devil.
Keishawn Bierria may be somewhat new to ASU’s recruiting board, but the Sun Devils are moving aggressively on the Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne High School standout. A member of ASU’s staff recently visited Bierria who talked to Devils Digest about his recruitment with the program.
