According to reports from Auburn Undercover, Gene Chizik has kicked off running back Eric Smith. Later, a spokesman for Auburn University confirmed that Eric Smith was let go for a violation of team rules.This is not Smith’s first crossing with trouble while at Auburn. He allegedly fought with a student of Auburn University.Smith also kicked an Oregon player in the head during the 2010 BCS National Championship game and was flagged for a personal foul of 15 yards when an Oregon player returned the kick for a touchdown.
