Ball State tight end David Schneider has been injured in the first half of the Cardinals' game at No. 23 Toledo. Schneider went down Tuesday night while blocking on a 3-yard run by Jahwan Edwards. Doctors and trainers put an air cast on Schneider's left leg, which appeared to be broken. After lying on the turf for several minutes, Schneider was helped up and taken to the locker room on a motorized cart. The junior had five catches for 23 yards in nine games this season. Ball State led 7-0 at the time he was injured.
