Baltimore Adds Former Miami QB John Beck to Roster

The Ravens have themselves another QB on their team, as the club has come to terms with former Miami Dolphin thrower John Beck. The Baltimore Sun is reporting that Beck has agreed in principle on a one-year contract. The 27-year-old will come in and compete against Troy Smith for the backup quarterback job. He was a second round draft pick by Miami back in 2007, but found himself on the outside looking in this past Wednesday when the team released him.
