With West Virginia (7-3, 3-2)  knocking off Cincinnati 24-21 on Saturday, and Bearcats quarterback Zach Collaros fracturing an ankle, the race for the Big East championship is wide open. Cincinnati (7-2, 3-1) still holds a half game lead over four teams, but a loss on Saturday to Rutgers will put five teams at two-losses. Pittsburgh, Louisville and West Virginia are the other two-loss teams. If the Bearcats can get by Rutgers, they will only need wins over Syracuse and Connecticut to win the conference outright, but without Collaros, winning at Rutgers will not be easy. Rutgers has Cincinnati and Connecticut remaining, so a win over the Bearcats will likely leave them 5-2 overall. West Virginia faces Pittsburgh and South Florida and will need both wins to have a shot at winning the Big East.
