It’s time for some week 7 big ten picks. Will Wisconsin score 80 points again against Indiana? Will Ohio State start out 0-3 in the Big Ten? Who will the battle in the state of Michigan? Find out whom I took below.
My Record so far Straight Up: 47-10 (Big Ten play 10-0)
Versus the Spread: 25-21 (Big Ten play 7-3)
PURDUE at PENN STATE (-11.5)
The best thing about Penn State’s win last week against Iowa was the play of the offensive line. With the injury to WR Derek Moye look for RB Silas Redd to run all over Purdue’s defense. Purdue’s QB Caleb TerBush has done pretty well so far this year but he hasn’t faced a defense like Penn State this year. Purdue will also struggle to run ball against Penn State’s defensive line led by DT Devon Still. It won’t be pretty but Penn State will win. Penn State-24 Purdue-10
MICHIGAN at MICHIGAN STATE (-2)
Who knew, the Michigan State Spartans would have one of the best defenses in the country, they had 9 sacks against Ohio State. Michigan...

In 2010, the Hoosiers’ road trip to Madison ended in an 83-20 beating of historical proportions. This is the game most who follow Indiana football (all five of us!) point to as the reason Bill Lynch was fired at season’s end, despite beating rival Purdue in overtime. I maintain it was Lynch’s tenure in general that got him fired, but I guess we can point to...
After losing 20 pounds with a strict diet and exercise, the off-season regimen of Wisconsin star Montee Ball has paid off, which is a big reason for the 13 touchdowns he's scored so far in 2011.
MADISON, Wis. On a New Years Day when he couldve been celebrating his individual performance in the Rose Bowl, Montee Ball instead wondered what hed done wrong.
Forget the late-game touchdown. Forget the 132 yards rushing. Why, Ball thought, hadnt he been able to evade more tacklers during Wisconsins 21-19 loss against TCU that day? Why did he feel so slow?
I felt like if those...
Officials' calls aren't the only ones about to become hot topics of conversation around the college football world.
Because after seven weeks, the "horses'' officially will be approaching the starting gate Sunday with the announcement of the first BCS ratings.
But fear not, college football fans, if your team isn't rated first or second.
As we enter the...
Russell Wilson garners most of the headlines for No. 4 Wisconsin, while Montee Ball piles up the points for the Badgers.
Wisconsin's feature running back has two four-touchdown games already this season, yet he's hardly getting a Heisman Trophy look when he's compared to Wilson, the Badgers' polished signal caller.
''The guy I feel kind of bad for is Montee...

#11 Michigan vs. #23 Michigan State
The Wolverines are looking to snap a 3 game losing streak against the Spartans and looking to cement themselves as being “Back” in college football. The Wolverines have seemed impressive but have played a less than challenging schedule. The one team both have played is Notre Dame. Michigan made an amazing comeback and Michigan State...
MADISON, Wis. In the adrenaline-infused bowels of Camp Randall Stadium, with Wisconsin football players celebrating yet another blowout victory, there was Travis Frederick somberly expressing disappointment.
Really. Despite a 6-0 start and a No. 4 national ranking already in tow, the Badgers burly offensive lineman had found an area to critique.
Frederick was speaking specifically...
Quarterback Russell Wilson added a new chapter to his brief-but-growing legend, making a touchdown catch on a trick play as No. 4 Wisconsin routed Indiana, 59-7, on Saturday. Wilson added another memorable moment to his résumé when he caught a 25-yard score from running back Montee Ball in the second quarter. Ball had a huge day, rushing for three touchdowns.
The Badger offense racked up 523 yards on its way to a 59-7 domination of Indiana.
QB Russell Wilson had a relatively quiet day, throwing for 166 yards and one touchdown on 12 of 17 passing, and also added 42 rushing yards. He came out of the game in the third quarter, and was replaced by redshirt freshman Joe Brennan, who completed just one of four passes.
Wilson did it all against...
Homecoming turned out to be a sweet experience for the still-undefeated Wisconsin Badgers (6-0) as they steam-rolled the Indiana Hoosiers (1-6) in a 59-7 romp. It wasn’t quite 83 points, but a similar message was instilled with the blowout win.
Heisman front-runner and Stanford QB Andrew Luck should take notice when he sees the trick play Montee Ball and...

No.4 Wisconsin wasn't going to need its best effort to get past Indiana, but that didn't stop the Badgers' offense from running wild. Rushing for 332 yards and four touchdowns and unleashing a perfect halfback pass, running back Montee Ball and quarterback Russell Wilson stole the show as the Badgers crushed the Hoosiers Saturday.
Fourth-rankedWisconsin bruised and bullied Indiana in a 59-7 victory at Camp Randall Stadium Saturday. The Badgers ran their record to 6-0 overall and 2-0 in Big Ten Conference play.
Here are five things we learned from Wisconsins blowout victory:
The Badgers are showing no mercy.
