MSU HC Dancing to Rich Homie Quan “Type of Way” After Beating Michigan (Video)

Mark Dantonio never strikes anyone as down to earth, but it seems that beating Michigan brings out the fun side of the Michigan State coach. On Saturday when the Spartans pummeled the Wolverines 29-6 and gained control of the Legends Division of the Big Ten, it was all smiles and lots of dancing with the team for Dantonio. CBS Sports reports that Dantonio’s nephew captured the...

Michigan AD says Hoke is right guy to lead team

Brandon told The Associated Press on Monday morning that no one was more disappointed than Hoke, his staff and players after Michigan State beat the Wolverines 29-6. The man who fired Rich Rodriguez and hired Hoke in 2011 says it was tough to watch film of...

MSU HC Mark Dantonio Celebrates Beating Michigan by Dancing to ‘Type of Way’ (Video)

Michigan State University dominated my school this past weekend. No doubt about and I’m always willing to give credit where it’s due. It’s why I’m putting up this footage of MSU head coach Mark Dantonio dancing in celebration. Hopefully it motivates the Michigan players who otherwise put up an abysmal performance.

Mark Dantonio dancing in the locker room following MSU’s win over Michigan

Michigan State had much to celebrate after trouncing their in-state rivals Michigan 29-6 on Saturday afternoon. In the locker room following the game, coach Mark Dantonio, who almost never smiles, was seen with a grin on face having a dance part to Rich Homie Quan’s ‘That Type of Way.’ [HT/ @MikeWScout]

Michigan Thumped in East Lansing, Spartans Rule 29-6

I must confess to all those that may read these words…I was a bit too distraught to post a news article summarizing the Michigan Wolverines’ performance against the Spartans in East Lansing on Saturday. I mean, I had one pretty-much written-up until the 4th quarter but just couldn’t do it. Going in, I knew there was a possibility that things wouldn’t go Blue’s way or even...

Hoke’s Message to Team: “Keep Grinding”

After Michigan’s disappointing 29-6 loss to Michigan State Brady Hoke said his team can’t dwell on the defeat. The Wolverines’ headman said the collective introspection afterward highlighted the need to continue to focus on improvement… particularly along the offensive line.

BRADY JOKE? Embarrassing loss to MSU puts further doubt in Hoke regime

Disgraceful, embarrassing, pathetic are just some of the words to describe Michigan’s 29-6 blowout loss to Little Brother Michigan State Saturday afternoon. But any adjective chosen to try to put into terms what the Wolverines did in East Lansing may be a total understatement. Michigan for the most part looked lethargic, confused and out of place on offense to the tune of -48 ...

Brady Hoke Doesn’t Think Taylor Lewan Should Be Suspended For Helmet Twist

Michigan senior offensive lineman Taylor Lewan is regarded as one of the best college football players in the country and is slated to soon be a first round NFL draft pick. But he’s also quickly gaining a reputation for being a dirty player. The video below, which shows Lewan twisting Spartans safety Isaiah Lewis’ facemask on the ground this past Saturday, isn’t doing wonders...

Commentary: Ugly In East Lansing; Uglier on Facebook and Twitter

I don’t know which was more disappointing, Michigan losing badly to Michigan State or the reactions to the loss by some fans on social media).  For those who missed it: being a sports fan is rewarding because when the team we support wins we feel good, even though we didn’t tangibly participate—but by being the team’s fan we share in their success. It’s called BIRGing...

Screengrab Snafu: Mark Dantonio and Mike D'Antoni finally merge into one

It was only a matter of time before Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio and Lakers head coach Mike D'Antoni were merged into one being by ESPN.  Forget their names though, if you combined Dantonio's awesome defense with D'Antoni's thirst for offense you'd have the perfect coach.  He'd be the John Wooden of college football.... or the Bill Belichick of...

Inexperienced offensive line problematic for Wolverines

ANN ARBOR -- For the first seven games of the season, Michigan was able to cover for its obvious problems on the offensive line. The cracks showed in nail-biting wins over Akron and Connecticut, and were exposed somewhat more in a bad quadruple-overtime loss to Penn State, but the Wolverines were still 6-1 and ranked in the Top 25. Michigan State, though, blew everything wide open...

Brady Hoke Calls Devin Gardner a 'Warrior’

Michigan quarterback Devin Gardner was hit and hit some more at Michigan State Saturday. Playing all but the final possession in East Lansing, Michigan coach Brady Hoke says Gardner needs time to recover but was proud of his performance (VIDEO included).
