Alabama RB Blake Sims tells LSU crowd to “Suck It” after Yeldon’s go-ahead TD (Video)
Between Alabama Crimson Tide RBs Eddie Lacy and TJ Yeldon, Blake Sims hasn’t gotten as much playing time as he would probably like, but that did not stop him from sharing his feelings with the LSU Tiger fans behind the Crimson Tide bench. It looks as though he yells “Suck it B****” as he makes the classic motion towards his crotch.Crimson Tide Head Coach Nick Saban will not...
AJ McCarron cries on sidelines after comeback win vs. LSU
Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron was so overcome by emotion after leading the Crimson Tide to a go-ahead score against LSU on Saturday night that he began crying on the sidelines.
McCarron and Bama’s offense were quiet in the second half of the game in Baton Rouge. They lost their lead and failed to score until the final minute of the game, when they went 72 yards over five plays...
Zach Mettenberger taunts Alabama fans with phone gesture after TD
LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger taunted Alabama fans with a phone gesture after throwing a touchdown pass to give the Tigers a fourth-quarter lead over the Crimson Tide on Saturday.
Bama fans got a hold of Mettenberger’s phone number and were prank calling him during the week, so this was his payback after throwing a pretty 14-yard touchdown pass to Jarvis Landry.
Mettenberger...
Here's the T.J. Yeldon touchdown that saved Alabama's spot atop the BCS Rankings
I didn't think the Alabama Crimson Tide football team would lose a game this season, but they came oh so close to losing on Saturday night to the No. 5 LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge.
In fact, with just a minute and a half left in the game, it certainly appeared the No.1-ranked team in the BCS was going to lose. That was until Heisman Trophy candidate A.J. McCarron led a five-play...
Did AJ McCarron and Kenjon Barner shake up the Heisman race?
Although Crimson Tide quarterback AJ McCarron has had an excellent season, he has yet to be put in a position where his team has needed him to pull its fat from the fire. That’s what I wrote this past Thursday in my preview of this weekend’s Heisman matchups. And, as it turned out, it was McCarron’s [...]
Mettenberger Mocks Alabama Fans With Cell Phone Gesture
When LSU took the lead against Alabama in the 4th quarter last night the thought of the Crimson Tide actually losing a game became a reality. This prompted the Tigers QB to make a cheeky gesture towards the Bama fans by pretending he was making a phone call. Which was in reference to some of the students who tracked down his number and made prank calls to try and throw him off his...
Bama must come back to earth with Aggies coming
No. 1 Alabama faces two major challenges this week.
The Crimson Tide must come back to earth from their last-minute win against No. 9 LSU and then get ready to host No. 15 Texas A&M and its high-flying offense.
Saban said Monday games like the LSU contest ''can bring out either the best in you or the worst in you. It's all your choice.''
He does his part...
Tide Magically Wins Over LSU
Alabama may not have made enough mistakes to lose two games (as legendary coach Paul Bryant used to complain), but it certainly looked as if the Crimson Tide had made enough to lose one. Bama, however, revived some of the magic from last year’s BCS National Championship Game in New Orleans and pulled out a victory that must make LSU feel the voodoo got them.
Alabama No. 1 in BCS for fourth straight week
The Crimson Tide remains atop the polls after coming back to beat LSU 21-17 in Death Valley Saturday. But there was a bit of a shakeup among the teams that make up the rest of the Top 10.
