This looks like it's going to be one of the closes Heisman votes in recent memory.  A ton of different players are nabbing votes in the latest Bloguin Heisman Poll, and this thing will come down to the final weekend.   Here is my ballot:

1.  Robert Griffin III QB Baylor - Griffin did not play a full game this week due to an injury, but he was still sensational and accounted for three touchdowns.   If he plays well and leads Baylor to a win over the Longhorns, it's tough to see him not getting my top vote in the final poll.   He has been college football's most outstanding player this year.

2.  Trent Richardson RB Alabama  - Trent saved his best for last, leaving a lasting impression on Heisman voters with a career high 203 rushing yards.  He has been consistently outstanding this year and finishes with a ridiculous 23 touchdowns.  His 20 rushing touchdowns this season tie for second in SEC history for a single season.

3.  Andrew Luck QB Stanford -  Luck has been outstanding but in my opinion, a bit of a letdown in big games.  Key interceptions against USC and Oregon skew an otherwise consistently great season.

Just Missed:

Matt Barkley QB USC - Barkley has been ridiculously good over the second half of the season.  His numbers for the season are out of this world with 39 touchdown passes.

Tyrann Mathieu DB LSU - Had Mathieu not been suspended against Auburn, you wonder if that Pick-6 that Ron Brooks took to the house would have been Mathieu's.   If so, I suspect the Honey Badger would be invited to New York.

Case Keenum QB Houston - 4,726 yards, 73% completion, 43 TDs  3 INTs.  I don't care who you play for or who you play against.....that's impressive.

Monte Ball RB Wisconsin - More yards and more touchdowns than Trent Richardson.  Ball has been outstanding.

The entire Bloguin Heisman Poll can be found right here.   As always, it's filled with tons of comments, stats, video, and factoids about the candidates.   Check it out.
