Independence Bowl: 12/28, 5:15pm PT Northern Illinois vs. Louisiana Tech
This game will be a battle between two solid running teams. Since both teams have great running attacks this game will come down to who can throw the ball well and which ever defense can come up with some big stops. Northern Illinois has a stand out linebacker who will make plays for them. With that, I will take the Huskies of Northern Illinois in what I expect to be a close, high scoring game; which is what we all love to see.

PapaJohns.com Bowl: 12/29, 12:00pm PT. North Carolina State vs. Rutgers
Two of the hottest teams in the nation will square off in this game. Both teams feature high powered, balanced offenses that go along with their solid defenses. This should be an extremely close game considering that both teams have similar strengths and weaknesses. In this game I think that senior quarterback Mike Teel will step up and become a huge difference maker for Rutgers. If they can establish a passing game along with their running attack, they will be able to come out over N.C. State.

Alamo Bowl: 12/29, 5:00pm PT Missouri vs. Northwestern
Although many may disagree, I anticipate this to be a great game. A huge surprise team this year in Northwestern against a Missouri team that was a huge disappointment after all the preseason hype that they had. Northwestern’s passing game has been doing well lately which is a good sign against the terrible secondary that Missouri has. On the other side, Missouri’s spread offense is deadly. Chase Daniel is extremely accurate and has many weapons that he can throw too. Missouri’s high powered offense will be too much for Northwestern.
