via SI Kids There is very little more motivating than seeing a cancer patient with a “whatever it takes” attitude.  Two weeks ago, 12-year old cancer patient Grant Reed’s story became public after he, an Ohio State fan, nicknamed his brain tumor “Michigan.” On Monday, NBC4 in Columbus reported that Brady Hoke is trying to win over Reed’s heart by offering him four Michigan-Ohio State tickets.  Reed’s family’s Michigan hotel stay will be paid for by The Rotary Club of Jackson on the eve of the Nov. 30 game at Michigan Stadium. Grant’s father Troy, who played alongside Grant’s mom in the Ohio State marching band, commented on the gracious offer from Hoke.  ”It’s getting hard to keep my dislike for them, because they’ve been so classy and unbelievable to us.” After learning that Reed named his tumor after “Michigan,” Hoke told Sports Illustrated that – just this once — he was glad to see someone beating “Michigan.” Grant has been steadily improving and will start back
