Shirts With Random Triangles:
What kind of game does Michigan head football coach Brady Hoke expects Saturday's Michigan State-Michigan confrontation to be like. One thing is for sure is that he expects it to be "bloody."
“When you play against spread teams, you’re playing a little bit more
of a finesse football game,” he said Wednesday night on the “Inside
Michigan Football” radio show.
“This week, because of pro style
personnel all those things, this is going to be more, I’m going to
bloody your nose. I’m going to come off the football, we’re going to
lead with the fullback, we’re going to run the power play… we’re going
to find out about us as a defense. How we tackle, how we run through the
football, how we wrap. That’s going to tell us a little more.”
Certainly, Michigan State is going to do everything it can to keep its four-game winning streak against Michigan, especially since there's not really much left in this season for the Spartans to fight for at

Michigan Football picked up their second commitment from the 2014 class on Saturday. Mammoth offensive linemen Denzel Ward (Chicago, Illinois) committed. He joins Michael Ferns as the only other member of Michigan’s 2014 class.2013 commit Logan Tuley-Tillman probably deserves an assist on this commitment as he struck up a friendship with Ward and became an extra recruiter for the Wolverines.
Listen to the audio from this weeks Big Ten coaches teleconference and the comments of Michigan head coach Brady Hoke.
Michigan head coach Brady Hoke has certainly done a lot to finally move the Michigan program in the right direction once again.
Last season he was able to finally end the team’s long losing streak to Ohio State, accumulating a winning record and ultimately get to a BCS bowl game at the end of the season.
Heading into 2012 Brady Hoke surely wants to capitalize on last season’s...
The 23/25 ranked Michigan Wolverines will host their in-state rivals from Michigan State on Saturday afternoon at the Big House. The game has been declared a maize out by the University of Michigan and thus every fan that walks through the turnstiles will receive a maize pom pon. The two teams enter the game on very different trajectories. The Wolverines have found their groove behind...

For the first time in the career of Michigan's seniors they can finally say they've beaten little brother and brought home the Paul Bunyan Trophy after a 12-10 hard fought victory at Michigan Stadium. Usually it's the senior class that keys these types of victories and that's exactly what QB Denard Robinson did as he led an 8 play 41 yard drive to set up the game...

Last season, the Michigan State Spartans wore Nike Pro Combat uniforms in their game against rival Michigan, and while the uniforms were loved by many of the players, fans and alumni didn’t seem entirely too keen on them. The Spartans are once again planning to wear something new. We received word earlier today that we [...]
Heading into a pivotal rivalry game and also in the Legends Division of the Big Ten, Michigan Head Coach Brady Hoke was quick, concise and focused earlier today. It’s clear the Spartans have the Wolverines' full attention.
Yes, Michigan. Will Gholston is coming for you.
Most of you guys read (and possibly hate) MGoBlog, a Michigan Wolverines blog. Although, I’m a Michigan State fan, I respect this blog and the writer answering these questions, Brian. Without further adieu, here’s the Q&A. Go Green.
1.) Was this season, up to this point, what you expected from Michigan?
It's a big week for the Michigan Football program. Even in the midst of the Tigers' playoff run, there's still plenty of hype going on around this weekend's matchup in Ann Arbor. Let's take a look at some of the mid-week headlines making the rounds by the more legit media outlets.
First though, a headline from the future via the Detroit Free Press.
• The crowd filtered in a little late, probably due to the long lines to get into the sections. The student section, once again failed to fill in completely at all. But noise-wise, easily one of the loudest crowds I've heard here.
• The all-important rushing stat, UM 60 MSU 25. The winner in this series has led in rushing 39 of the last 42 games.
Michigan redshirt freshman forward Max Bielfeldt is looking to contribute this season. He talks about playing AAU ball with Mitch McGary (and Glenn and Spike), and about a 2-post versus a 4-guard offense.
