As reported earlier on Sports@Work that Jim Tressel maybe interested to be the next head coach at Akron. 97.1 FM radio in Columbus, Ohio reports that Jim Tressel has no interest to be the head coach at Akron but will help the University in its search for a head coach.
Hiring Tressel to an NCAA job may be difficult in the near future as schools will have to appear before the NCAA to explain why they are hiring him. The NFL is more likely an immediate destination if Tressel wants to get back into coaching.

As a resident of Ohio and not a Buckeye fan, it's easy to get overloaded on Buckeye news.
On Monday when Urban Meyer replaced Jim Tressel (or Luke Fickell) as the OSU coach, the news was fed to us at a gluttonous pace.
