Brooks Robinson Honored in York, Pa.; The York Revolution Fan Fest

They started off cloudy and chilly up in York afternoon; however, it became sunny and a lot warmer once Brooks Robinson took center stage in York, Pa., this afternoon at Sovereign Bank Stadium. Today, Oriole legend and Hall of Famer was honored up north today as a statue of his likeness when he was in the minors as a member of the York White Roses was unveiled this afternoon. The event kicked off the York Revolution Fan Fest, and it seemed like a large chunk of fans who came from nearby and also far away huddled around the stadium plaza to celebrate not only a great ballplayer, but an immaculate man as well.
