She is just a 65-year-old woman minding her own business while she drove through Tennessee after attending a funeral in Columbus, showing off her love for the Ohio St Buckeyes with a sticker on her vehicle. But police officers mistook the emblem for something else, a Marijuana leaf. Not only did cops identify the sticker wrongly, they profiled her and her husband as possibly being part of a much larger marijuana ring. “It’s just amazing they would be that dumb,” Bonnie Jonas-Boggioni said. When Ms Jonas-Boggioni was pulled over, it wasn’t for any infraction, it was strictly on suspicion due to the Buckeye sticker. She was pulled over by a black SUV with lights flashing, and two officers approached, one one each side. “They were very serious,” she said. “They had the body armor and the guns.” You have to imagine that this was probably rather unnerving for the elderly couple.
