The Boxing Stop:

Amir Khan and Marco Antonio Barrera are set to fight tomorrow. This is a career defining moment for Khan. Barrera is an all time great and true warrior. If Khan can get the win, he'll set himself up for even bigger fights in the future. If not, say bye-bye to the Amir Khan carreer train.
As if Bernard Hopkins needs another career defining moment, word on the steet is he is getting ready to fight Tomasz Adamek for a cruiserweight belt. Hopkins, whose legendardy status is not in question, is doing all he can to work his way into the best of all time discussion. This would be another step in that direction, even if he's already there.
Kelly Pavlik is going to defend his middleweight championship against Sergio Mora. For Mora, this is a big chance--huge. Mora could go from a contender nobody to the world middleweight champion. However, Pavlik now seems gun shy about stepping in the ring with A-level competition since his obliteraton at the hands of Bernard Hopkins.
Finally, not all career definig moments are wins. Mike Casey has a great article on East Side Boxing about Billy Conn. Conn almost moved up to heavyweight to defeat the legendary Joe Louis.
