After throwing for 9 touchdowns against Rice in a 63-34 Houston win, Case Keenum is the talk of the college football world. With the failures of Timmy Chang and Colt Brennan, it would seem that he is destined to be another casualty of the NFL, but his CFL stardom is all but assured. Many draft experts believe he is a late round pick that stands little chance of becoming an NFL star, which is probably true unless a quarterback coach really invest some time in developing him. The good thing for him going forward is he does a great job of getting rid of the football on time. Also, he has great leadership skills and with the Houston Cougars likely to have an undefeated season, he will garner plenty of attention from scouts.  A good week at the forthcoming senior bowl in Mobile, Alabama will be his ticket to win scouts over before the draft.  If he does not perform well that week, then he will immediately become a star in the CFL.
