The good news on the recruiting trail just keeps on coming. Less than eight hours after picking up a verbal commitment from defensive end Rashawn Shaw, Charlie Strong landed another verbal pledge.
Danny Burns, a 6-foot-7, 320-pound, offensive lineman committed to Louisville on Thursday afternoon. Burns is rated as a three-star prospect. He has scholarship offers from Nebraska, Ohio State, Michigan State, West Virginia and Maryland among others.
Earlier this summer, Burns was named the MVP of the Rivals.com Offensive Lineman Camp. He is the 17th commitment for Charlie Strong in the 2014 class.
Don’t be surprised if Louisville lands another commitment within the next 48-hours.
