The Herndon Braves of the Cal Ripken Sr. League have their sights set on becoming the #1 team in the Cal Ripken Sr. League this summer. The Braves will be counting on quality pitching from Pat Devlin and Josh Constable, combined with timely hitting from freshman phenom Beau Taylor.Pat is a sophomore LHP from Richboro, PA. He pitches for Rider University. He is currently 2-1, with a 3.90 era in 32.1 innings pitched. He has surrendered 32 hits and has a bb/k ratio of 13/21 this year. This will be his 2nd summer in Herndon. He went 1-1, with a 4.97 era in 25.1 innings pitched last summer. Josh is a 6-5/160 pound freshman from Radford. He is currently 4.38 in 12.1 innings pitched this season. He has walked 9 batters and fanned 12 this year.Beau is a talented freshman catcher from the University of Central Florida. He is currently hitting .340/.514/.382 in 144 at-bats. He has driven in 21 runs and has scored 27 times this year. He has hit 4 homers and has a bb/k ratio of 9/20 this year.
