Auburn coach Gene Chizik says quarterback Clint Moseley's confidence never wavered in a challenging starting debut.
Moseley passed for 145 yards and was intercepted once in that 45-10 loss at LSU's Tiger Stadium. He was also sacked six times.
Chizik said Tuesday that he likes how the sophomore handled the difficult circumstances. The coach says he ''never saw anything in the game that indicated to me that he was losing confidence or didn't feel he could get the job done.''
Moseley offers a similar assessment. He says he felt like he never lost his composure in what he calls ''the most dramatic situation I could be put in.''
He'll have a more friendly environment when No. 2. The Tigers host Mississippi Saturday night.
